Hardcore encore TOPSHOP

TOPSHOP's meanest encore for the End of Season Sale (July 27-July 31).

I was ecstatic when my BFF told me about "THE SALE" when she read le shop's post on FB last night... and I was not dissapointed at all... because I did not go over my self-imposed budget!!! Here's my haul for July 27 (hehe):
petite tulip peterpan top (P1,272.50 from P2,545.00)scallop vest in camel (P597.50 from P1,195.00)

scallop vest in mint (P597.50 from P1,195.00)

fluro embroidered gypsy top (P1,122.50 from P2,245.00)

buckle detail pouch bag (P1,997.50 from P3,995.00)
black daisy spot print shorts (P1,397.50 from P2,795.00)

Of course, I'd be lying if I'd say that I just did my shopping at Topshop today because since July 1 (when THE SALE started), we have been cheating on MNG and Promod with the latter. Hehe, but of course no explanations or reasons required! It's Topshop... THE SHOP!

Flipsters to the rescue!

Due to my super straight legs, I've given heels, stilletos, and wedges, a chance to give my ankles some definition. But I must admit that nothing compares to the comfort a flat pair can give, especially when I'm out and about the mall. My BFF discovered Flipsters upon an errand to restoerun for a very reasonable price, P890.00. So a week after, I decided to check it out with her, and voila we both got a pair! Hers in black and mine in brown... the downside, just after 7 days (that Sunday, when we got em), Ladybag and restoerun already marked the price up to P990.00. Pfft! I assure you though, that you will not be sorry with it. Not only does it come in a pretty pouch, foldable, and kept with a pretty purple baller band, it can also withstand the rain and dries fast! I should know, because one bad, rainy, Wednesday... my BFF and I had to cross and run through the rain, jumped in a puddle of rain water, (not much of a jumper, I failed P.E. in my first term of college) to go to the parking lot and just when we got inside the mall it was already drying, even before we could finish cleaning our feet with wet wipes. My new superhero?! Lol!

le' satchelies

I've sworn on my LC's that they are my favorite even if the fake ones are strewn all over the city, because I can literally bring all of my stuff; just shove it in and I'm good to go.

My Bff and I first learned about the Cambridge satchel over some blog, we lusted on it yes, because we are suckers for Proenza Schuler's satchels but are in no way able to afford it. Cambridge was the next best thing at just over 6 grand. When Daryl Chang from Preview Magazine did a debut on her satchel in flourescent orange, we were envious but thought that it will just pass. Sometime in May, just when my very handsome Twixo spoilt me with shopping money; Schu was already merchandising the coveted satchels... and for some odd reason, me and my BFF just brushed it off and forced ourselves to believe that the bag was too stiff and tiny. Then the dreadful happened (exaggeration)... My dearest cousin bought a 13" Cambridge satchel in solid green. Haha and the rest is history because we were just green with ENVY. Came June 1, I excused myself from work at exactly 9:45am, went to the mall and literally knocked on Schu's door because they were not open yet and bought the babies from inset. My Bff got the red one and mine, mustard. To date, it is my favorite everyday bag (hers too). It taught us le valuable lesson of simplifying... MAYN! The 11" satchel is real tiny you barely could fit your coin purse; however, I am inlove with it... even if it means giving up my Dior make-up kit. 'must be true love. <3

too much is always better!

So I have been an absentee for the longest and tbh I've just been one lazy bum. Alot of things changed, from my plans of the future, to my work now, and obviously my closet! 'been shopping alot (void of bragging); and I couldn't keep up anymore. It doesn't help that you are an only child and you have a man who spoils you with YES' all the way and a BFF who buys the same stuff that you find TDF, in short, the most supportive of this sickness cause she's "blessed" with it too. I love being a big spoilt though. My Jansen (ugh, sux that you're sick today babe) has been the most cooperative with the End of Season Sale, most especially with my recent haul because since the varsity jacket, he approves of anything TOPSHOP. It's crazeeeee! I am surely loving this vacay off from work.
